Mission of the Australian Tatar Forum – Kurultai is to help Tatar communities in Australia to be resilient for preserving Tatar identity and enhance recognition of Tatar communities in Australia.

Goals:

1. Foster a strong sense of belonging within the Tatar community.

2. To preserve, promote, and pass on the shared values and legacy of the Tatar nation.

3. To encourage all generations of the Tatar community in Australia to learn the Tatar language, history, traditions, and culture.

4. To strengthen solidarity, empathy, and mutual support within Tatar communities across Australia.

5. To increase visibility, awareness, and recognition of the Tatar nation in Australia.

Mission of the Australian Tatar Forum – Kurultai is based on the initiative (CURULTAI) presented by Dr Marat Gallyam to Adelaide Tatar community on 2 Jan 2026.

CURULTAI initiative represents for Community Uplift for the Resilience / Recognition, Unity & Legacy of Tatars in Australia Initiative.
