This will be the first Tatar community camp ever held in Australia.
It will focus on quality over quantity, offering carefully designed, Tatar-themed activities that explore key aspects of Tatar identity.
The camp will be organised as a Family Day Camp, with most activities taking place at the Adelaide Tatar House* (Laila Sadri Tatar Community Centre). In addition, day trips and half-day excursions around Adelaide will be arranged, including hiking and outdoor activities.
The presence of a parent or legal guardian (close relative) is mandatory for the each day of the camp.
Participants are kindly asked to arrange their own accommodation independently. Adelaide residents are expected to return home overnight.
All attendees are encouraged to arrive on time each morning and follow the recommended daily program to ensure the smooth running of activities.

28 Sep 2026 - Adelaide Zoo Adventure: meet new friends and learn Tatar words through a fun family quest.
29-30 Sep 2026 - Adelaide Tatar House* (Laila Sadri Tatar Community Centre):
Daily workshops & cultural sessions
Outdoor activities & Tatar themed games
Evening campfire and songs every day!
1 Oct 2026 - Hiking & kids Sabantuy in the park

We strongly encourage you to submit your Expression of Interest (EOI) by 1 July 2026 as this will help us assess demand and plan activities.

After submiting EOI, you will be able to communicae all enquiries with organisers. To progress further with enrolment, camp attendess will need to pay the registration fee before 1 Aug 2026. The amount of the fee will be provided via private communication.
