The first Australian Tatar Forum – Kurultai will take place in Adelaide on 26–27 September 2026.

This is more than a traditional gathering of songs and dances. It is a celebration of our shared journey in Australia — a space where we come together to reflect, to speak openly about the challenges and opportunities of our diaspora, and to shape our future with intention.

Together, we honour the resilience of our ancestors — their strength, dignity, and unwavering commitment to preserving Tatar identity across generations. Inspired by this legacy, we look ahead: strengthening our sense of belonging, deepening solidarity, and fostering a community built on empathy and mutual support.

This Forum is a moment to reconnect — across cities, across generations, and across experiences.

A place where stories are shared, ideas are exchanged, and new connections are formed.

This September, let us come together as one community.

A reunion of hearts. A celebration of who we are.

A chance to pass our knowledge and legacy to our children — and to build a stronger, more connected future for Tatars in Australia and beyond.
